We are very pleased to announce we have been awarded three grants that help us provide better services to our youth, adult members and the community groups that use our hall.
7th Ringwood Scout Group acknowledges the support of Maroondah City Council’s Community Grants Funding Program/ Arts and Cultural Grants Scheme. Their grant of $460 will be used to partially fund the purchase of ten additional sturdy, folding chairs for use by hall users.
7th Ringwood has received a grant from the Victorian Government’s Sporting Club Grants Program 2018/19 – Round 2 – Category 1: Uniforms or Equipment (F-104 v108).
The grant of $1,000 will be used to partially fund the purchase of a new three seater bushranger canoe together with oars and additional seats for other canoes. This will greatly increase our capability to provide canoeing experiences to our members and those of other scout groups.
7th Ringwood has received a grant from the Federal Government’s 2018/19 Volunteer Small Equipment Grant of $4,122.
The funds will be used to purchase a new trailer to safely transport camping gear to/from camps. The trailer protects our gear from the weather and can be easily towed by more types of cars. It is also easy to load and will help us to spread the load across two or more trailers if needed.
